Why can’t Boys be involved in the program:

All these workshops are for female identifying students as it offers a powerful, supportive space during a critical developmental window when many girls begin to lose interest in STEM.

How do I know my child will be safe?

• All volunteers hold a valid working with children check 

• Reputable Public Venue: The workshops take place in the conference room at the Port Macquarie Library, a trusted and secure community venue. 

• Structured Supervised Activities: Workshops are structured, hands-on, and directly facilitated by volunteers and visiting role models (young women in STEM degrees and careers) who guide the students through their creations and experiments. 

• Sign in and sign out is required for your child to enter and leave the workshops 

Do I have to be in the room with my child?

Your welcome to stay in the library conference room with your child during the workshop, you are also welcome to drop your child off and return when the session ends.

Does my child have to attend all five weeks?

 Yes, these workshops run for five weeks with the same children, if you know your child cannot make all five weeks let us know.
